About Bernati
Bernati is a manufacturer of low-voltage electric motors and worm gearboxes for general industrial applications.
Bernati is part of an industrial group established in 1981. Since its foundation the group has focused on the production and development of precision transmission components and industrial equipment.
The group's activities are organised in three departments: design and development, production and logistics, and commercial. Specialised teams in Europe and Asia run these departments.
Bernati's product range comprises three-phase motors in aluminium (BMT) and cast-iron (BCT) frames, three-phase brake motors (BCL), single-phase motors (BMM, BDM), and two series of worm gearboxes (BG, BV) with their accessories.
Engineering and quality
- Motors are designed, built and tested to IEC 60034 (rating, protection, cooling, mounting, terminal markings, noise and vibration) and IEC 60072 (dimensions).
- Efficiency classes are declared to IEC 60034-30-1:2014, with efficiency published at 100 %, 75 % and 50 % load.
- All motors are supplied with an aluminium rating plate carrying the data required by the reference standards.
- Gearboxes are components under the Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE and are placed into service only as part of a machine declared in conformity.
